there was a compnay that sold a complete gear set for the w58 but the price $2000ish. i'll post a link if i can find it again but thats the only thing i've really seen that actually beefs up the tranny and like what other mentioned...if you are going to spend that much on a gear set why not just go with the getrag.

cryo treatment does work,, but must be done properly.. they reduce temp at a certain rate, and bring it back up at a certain rate.. it tkaes a while, and the get the parts very cold--well below freezing.. iv had friends who use tool cuttinng bits say that the cruod cutters last much loger than the ones not treated, and that was good enough for me to try it.. ive had an engine done before, and its hard to claim that it di anything because i had no way to compare it to a non treated engine, but that motor took alot of abuse, and is till around today..

it was a 20 valve 4age that i had previuosly turboed.. it held up very well after a bunch of abuse.. and i had a local musical instrument place cryo it.. it was the first engine he had done.. they cryo treat metal-musical horns because they sound better after the treatment--wierd but true..
