Talking Next mod: new alternater = no more turbo noise!!!

We have discovered that my whining sound that is rpm correlated is my altenator bearings that have gotten wet and now sounding stupid.... kinda fresh when on the gas, but nevertheless, I like my lex running in tip top shape,... so off with the old tomorrow morning,... on with the new!!

Do you only hear the sound at high rpm's? Can you hear it in the cabin?

the pitch gets higher as the rpms do,.. the bearings were bad,... altenator has been rebuilt and my car is once again, stealthily quite. You could hear it in the cabin somewhat,... the metallic grindin' sound ( best way i can describe it ) scared me more than anything.... but no big deal,.. it's fixed now....
