Exclamation Powerhouse Racing MAP ECU

Hello all,

Has anyone here used this product before? Sounds interesting. I am contemplating using this in the SC400. It can get it's base settings from the stock AFM and then you can use a Windows system to control settings from there and eliminate your AFM completely. Kind of like a VPC on steroids.

Heck man, I didn’t even know it existed until your post!

Break new ground and test this bad boy out Hermosa. I’d be down for one, if it works well.

Edit: "Price: $895.00" Ouch...

Thats about the same price as the Lexus pros ECU, which many here have said only gives slight improvement over stock. Also, I have read that the performance gains of the ECU decrease over time as it "learns" and sets itself more conservatively. I do not know this for a fact, only from what others have told me. But, it has been enough to keep me from spending 1k on an ECU that may or may not give much performance gains. If anyone tries the Powerhouse ECU, write a review and let us know how it goes. I'm glad to see we are getting more choices for our SC 4's.

You cannot control timing with the MAP ECU, however it will allow you to run speed density metering on earlier cars.

I'm still in favor of the gforce/vpc/safc combo. I've heard alot of people recommend against the phr map ecu.
