shifting when car is stopped?
when i use to go from gear to gear when the car was turned off, it was realyl smooth. now it gets stuck sometimes like it doesn't go into gear. what does this mean if anything?

Nothing is turning inside the trans when the car is off. When it's running, if something is off..i.e. a damaged synchro...it will be more difficult to get into gear as it's rotating and has to mesh properly.

That's not what I said, can't diagnose a problem without seeing it, just trying to point you in the right direction....you need to have it looked at, could be a problem with the clutch, TO brng, synchros, sliders, shift fork, etc, etc.
