1UZFE - 40MPH Hesitation REVISITED..

The dreaded 40MPH hesitation problem....

I have read thread after thread and still no solution to this problem.....It seems to happen only on the 1UZFE w/ 100K + mileage...

This member explains this problem correctly: (Sorry I forgot your sn)

I have replaced my air filter and cleaned my throttle body....There is still a slight misfire (hesitation) when lightly accelerating to 40MPH......It is not as reoccuring frequently as it was prior to the air filter and the throttle body cleaning....

At any rate, the car still runs very strong...I haven't checked my tranny fluid yet, since it was serviced by a Lexus tech 2 months ago....Along with T-belt, W pump, Serpentine belt, plugs, wires, gas filter....etc etc etc....The whole 9 yards....The car is currently sitting at 101,5XX on the odometer...

EGR valve - haven't checked that yet....So it's on my list...I'm going to have to check it out and update you guys...

I have read that it can also be the TC (Torque Converter).....Probably having that checked out, not a cheap fix....I would try to look at all the inexpensive possiblities before looking any further...I'm seriuosly trying not to dent my wallet trying to figure this one out....

I have read all the possible hypothesis to this problem, there is still no real solution to this dreaded 1UZFE problem...Please solve..
