mine stinks too, after giving it a good beating(not brakes). no visible leaks are detected. the smell sometimes variate from a "rotten" egg smell to a burning transmission fluid like smell.

Well i can almost agree with the smell of the burning but mine doesnt smell much.. its just clear white smoke.

I did do my transmission service a few weeks ago, no leaks were found at the time and at the time of this burning aswell there are no visible leaks.

IF it turns out to be these little gaskets as every 1 is mentioning then approx. how much will i be looking at to get them replaced?

white smoke is almost definitely oil. What you could do to be sure (if you dont mind inhaling it), Drop a few drops of oil onto the hot exhaust mani or heat shield and see if the smell matches that of the smoke coming out. While you have your valve covers off if thats what it is, go ahead and change the pcv valve too...should cost like $5 MAX. That will help relieve some of the pressure that builds up in the valve covers as well.

Default No smoke, no smell

Ok, I'll consider myself lucky. No smell, no smoke, no anything after anykind of driving, track or highway speeds. Brakes, yeah, you can certainly get them to give you a little aroma. So no, its not normal as far as I am concerned.

You can change this without removing any other parts. Also, list price for the PCV valve is more like $10

This is probablu gona sound like a silly question but im going to jack up the car tomorrow. While im under there i want to have a look at where its leaking from.

So where is this gasket supposed to be thats allegedly leaking? Any particular place i should be looking towards? I mean is it easy to spot or do you have to remove a cover or something to see it?
