Default Who here is using the AFC2?

Where did you wire up the knock sensor to?

I know there are 2 spots available on the ECU..... which one did you get a better signal off of?

And did you wire up the 2nd singal to the AFC's voltage meter??

Thanks
Ken

man. I have a sc400 and have S-AFC. I can't remember the full details... but if you got some time let me know, i'll take my stuff apart and show you... I am not sure if the wiring is the same but if it is you can see mine.

by knock sensor i think you mean the blue wire? I didn't hook up the blue wire because i was told that it take too much voltage out of the system therefore delaying and/or reporting inaccurate readout.

As for the Engine wire I used engine 1. I've been told that you can use either but i used 1 and it's been working without a problem since day one.

I was not able to find any information about the S-AFC on the SC400 when i installed mine so i had to go to DSM forums and get ideas from there. The DSM guys say it's a big no because of the voltage drain... but i guess depending on how much amps the alternator is generating or something it can make a difference.... maybe OLT can chime in and give us a heads up on the voltage thing.

yeah i've been posting questions on safc2 too. I just bought it and now have been told the wiring diagram is wrong for the sc300 and that we need to go on supraforums. can anyone send me a link to the place where you got the info?
