Default Anyone removed ignition switch? Or have a FSM??

Well I determined my tumbler assembly is fubar so I'll be replacing it. Has anyone on here replaced it before or have a FSM (Factory Service Manual) that could send me the part on removing this? Thanks for any help.

you have to insert the key into the ignition, and turn it to the first click (maybe the second), and then you will have to get something pointy and press a spring loaded ball while pulling the cylinder out.

the spring loaded ball is on the bottom of the cylinder.

you can do the following: drill out the cylinder, or get a slap hammer(body shop tool), screw one end into the ignition and yank it out

Bumping a 6yr old thread lol. But I have an issue and didn't want to make another thread covering the same issue.

Cliffs:

Stupid transporter lost my key, and I have a key and complete ignition off my 95 shell. I want to swap ignitions to use the key from my 95, on my 93. What exactly do I have to do?

95 ignition and key--------->>>> to my 93 to fire it up

Do the same steps that were mentioned above???
