General SC Questions-Transmission shift **** shaking
First, I would like to mention that I really appreciate all the members here with your help posted on this forum. This is a great forum and web site. I got more than enough information for my SC400 always.
Is this supposed to be happened? I want to ask other SC400 or 300 (Automatic) owners if they are experiencing the same thing.
I have 95 SC400 Automatic trans with 69000miles on it. I got it about three months ago.
Recently, I noticed that shift **** is shaking (especially top part) to front and back while it is in drive position when the car was going on roughly paved road or when I hit the brake.
I also notice that whole shift **** seems moving backward little every time when I hit the brake while it is stopping. It comes back to original position when car stopped comepletely.
It feels like there are two seperate peices to make a car, and these two peices are shaking a little.
Bottom part : Frame, Wheels, Engine, Transmission include shift **** as a one piece
Top part : Body with interior as a one piece
Is this normal? or some mount rubber connector is loose, or something is going bad?
Thank you in advance.
