All things being considered, I will take the V8 BTW, that is just the prototype piping, wait until you see the finished product.

Hmmm, Turbo V8 + 6-speed = love, though I still may find the GTE swap or NA-T in the SC3 to be the better choice for me. Let's see what kind of numbers the kit pulls, and what total cost ends up being. I'm not doing my project until next summer, and I'm definitely glad to see that I may have one more direction in which to look when the time comes around

Uh oh, looks like Ethan's got some competition...

We gotta wait and see who can make the most bad-a** 400 the quickest. Lextreme, why are you opting this for the SC rather than for the LS which you seem to work on more often?

Yeah but noone really knows what that is for the V8. Some boats over here are running 700+hp on stock engines + fat gasket. Who knows what's possible..?

Plus, I'd take a 20psi 1UZ over a 28psi 2JZ any day of the week. I only ever plan on running pump gas, so that caps it at about 18 psi here.

Anderson-Audio and Performance AAP dynoed their twin turbo SC430 605 rwhp @ 15 psi. This is only .30 liter larger. I would not suprise to see 500 rwhp with 15 psi on the 4.0 liter. How many psi would take the 2JZGE to make 500?

Once it gets completed and tuned, I will be most interested in the HP and torque as compared to the SC300.

Dyno will show all.

How do you know the 1UZ can't handle that task also- have you done research concerning the 1UZ and its ability to handle boost on stock internals?
