Default What about the battery side?

Did you do anything to address the loss of air out the battery side of your front intake?

Thanks Ryan! It is old but it still looks as good as the day I completed it. More cool upgrades on the way.

I have a question for u if u dont mind...I have a 99 sc300 and was bout to make my own bfi and so i looked around on planetsoarer and urs but my question is since on the 97+ sc there's a big hole right next to the fog light why don't you guys direct air directly through that big opening and create basically a tunnel that scoop air in from the opening up to the intake? I mean there must be a reason why you guys didn't do tat so im just wondering why? I mean with the way planetsoarer and ur bfi is drawing air in an L shape from the bumper bottom vent to the left into the intake so again why can't u just draw the air directly below the intake in? Is there any differences? thanks in advance

You could do that and it would be great, I was always going to do that on my old set set up (this one) but never got it done. My new set up will feed air from that exact spot.

oh well second thought, ill just follow your detailed guide because i think the fog light chamber will cause some water to come through when driving in the rain

nice write up, i never seen this BFI thread, too bad more people don't try and follow it instead of doing quick hack jobs, spending a little bit more time this looks alot cleaner and a little more functional.
