NA-T: which one is more reliable?
im getting close to the point of continuing my na-t project. h'ever, im still debating
if i shud just get the 1jzgte and do a swap or get my old motor rebuild and acquire a turbo kit.
which one will perform better? complete swap or complete rebuild and add turbo kit?
tks for any inputs you might share.

As far as I know, cams dont typically wear out. What would you rebuild, new bearings? Mayby a valve job but thats not a big deal.

and head work mostly. im not going to boost thatmuch..........hehehe...that's what everyone says at
the beginning and end up acquiring more hp at the end....and it will be a daily driven car.
so, i guess i will continue to assemble my turbo kit and go from there.
tks for feedback, you guys...........!!!

my block only had 120k miles on it, and i thought it was good for NA-T. I was forced into buying the TT shortblock because i had a crankwalk issue on my old motor. It was worth it in the long run because now i know the motor is VERY strong. I am more comfortable with boosting more on the TT block than the NA block with a 3mm HG. I am running the TT bottom end and the NA head with a vavle job (800$) so there you go, 2000 for the block, and 800 for the head work. 2800$ for a great motor.
