has anybody tried to do this or does anybody know if this is possible and how hard it would be??? im talking about the gs400 or 430 motor sorry dont know engine code too well.

the GS400 is basically the same engine as the SC400's (1UZ-FE) I do not know the small changes made to give it the increase in horsepower of the similar year SC400. I have never seen a 3UZ-FE swap in a SC400 (engine from the 430 cars). But it does not seem like it would really be worth it unless you are really going to build the 430-

i was wondering that because when the stock motor on my car is about 200+ miles is there an alternative beside the stock motor.

sc4 motor is proven to go to 300K if taken care of, in any event swappping in a used sc400/ls400 motor will be easier and cheaper than a gs motor.

isn't the GS a 5 spd auto and the 92-97 sc4 (1uzfe) 4 spd auto. but i think i would trust the 1uz more also
