1jz-gte vvti upgrade mods-???
Hey all,
I got the 1jz-gte vvti, and currently looking for an upgrade on the injectors,
the only drop injecotrs that i know of are the sard 530cc for the vvti.
Without modifying the fuel rail is there any other drop injecotors available?
Would the supra 2jz-gte vvti injectors fit on the 1jz-gte vvti?
What has other people done in replacing their injectors for the vvti? What is the limit on the stock injectors?
Also,
Changing the dump pipes , the vvti has a flex section on the dump - i have not yet replaced this yet but will soon when i switch the turbos. Just want to know does the flex section need to be retained? What has everyone else done??? Get another dump with the flex?
Thanks in advance!

As far as injectors go, as long as you get the correct feed(side or top), any of them should work. Now there is a difference with low impedance and high impedance also. If you get a Walboro 255 fuel pump you should be able to jack up the injectors to flow around 450cc, but they will be at 100% and i dont recommend it. I have a dump without a flex and i didnt really see much of a point in it since the dump is bolted to the trans anyways. Just get some stiffer exhaust supports and it should be fine.

Here are the specs of the sard530cc from a website
Size; 530cc
Brand; SARD
Made in; Japan
Model #; S65316
Feed Type; Side feed
Impedance; High Impedance
No. of Injectors; x1
ECU; will work with factory ECU or other Aftermarket ECU
Notes;
Suited for these cars; , Toyota 1JZ & 2JZ Supra VVTi model Only
as it specifiies (vvti model only - why would that be??)
here is a pic as well.... if i could get the supra 550cc i'd get that for sure but dont know if they will work as drop in, other alternative is get 2 extra bigger injectors (anyone know what is required for this add on) - anyone done it here?
