thank you...

so this particular wire is only live when there's a key in the ignition?

I'm hooking up the control box for my efans... right now i have the signal wire hooked up to the battery... so my fans stay on for about a minute and a half after i turn my car off.

i kinda of gave up on looking for the wire in the engine bay so i just ran the wire through the drivers side fender into the car and into the cig lighter the only easily accessable 12v source. It was way easier than looking for a 12v source in the engine bay. I was actually looking for a source that only goes on when the engine is running and the alternator is powering everything and not the battery. I would like to be able to just park and listen to the radio with the engine off to with out having the fan drain my battery.

I'm consider wiring up a switch in the car so I can turn the fans off when i need to warm up the car or if i wanted to park and listen to the radio. But im affraid i may forget to turn them back on if it shut it off.

i'll be able to get away using the ignitor... even if it's live during acc

i'm using a temperature control box... so my fans go on at it's own set temperature. My fans stay on for no longer than about a minute after i shut her down...

you should look into getting one.... will makes things alot easier
