Any thing is possible with money. If thats what you want to hear. Any reason you would want to do this? Overheating dosen't seem to be any issue in most cases.

well if your intercooler was as large as your radiator and maybe you were into auto x or something like that then it might be practical

most cars cant v mount because there is simply not enough space between the engine and front bumper.
the only 2 cars i know of that are capable of this mod is an rx7 and a 240sx other than those 2 i dont think ive seen it on any other cars

True but you don't hear of alot of Supra/SC's over heating from a intercooler thats too big. My buddy has an FD with a normal FMIC (Greddy 3row I believe) and he just spent the cash on a Toyo monstrosity of a radiator along with the Mazda Speed CF hood and he now has issues getting is warm fast enough for his liking . Alway something to complain about.

what are the added benefits of a v-mount vs. a front mount beside not having an obstruction to the radiator and slightly shorter piping? Many of the supra owners that i know have had no overheating issues with the large greddy 4-row.

it seems like it would be an impracticality on an SC due to the intake manifold setup. The intercooler itself would have to be small due to the space constraints and it seems like it wouldnt get the same airflow as a front mount. Also, piping would have to involve significantly more bends increasing turbulence in the flow path due to the intake manifold setup and space constraints. This might be more practical if running a DaveH style manifold but i think that, aside from a possible decrease in lag, it would cost much more than its worth, from a performance standpoint. It would look cool though.

yah i think i agree with you there it would be more trouble than its worth unless you wanted to do it just to be able to say your the only guy with an sc that has a v mount other than that i dont see it really being worth it
