Default Trouble code 14

I am running a obd I computer on my 97 sc300 and I have started getting trouble code 14, ignition signal. When I first start the car it runs fine untill it warms up. Then I get the check engine light. Does anyone have any suggestions where to start.

Put in the correct ECU. Some of the senors don't work from OBD-I to OBD-II. Not to mention it's Illegal if you have any concerns in that area.

you can go to autozone and get OBD2 checked for free, 96-2000 = OBD2 92-95= OBD1

1. Swap OBDII ecu back in? No, I will swap obdII computer back in for emission testing only. Then back to obdI. OBD I lets you tune the car better, at 18 lbs of boost I run 450whp with a nice 12 to 1 air/fuel. Besides my car is very illegal - no cats, open wastgate - so one more thing no big deal.

2. I had already found that code 14 is ignition signal. I was looking for more information on what to check. I have already checked the coil and wiring for something disconnected. I think the problem is with the magnetic pick up on my distributor. Need to do more research.

thanks
