This will be good for all of the SC400 guys.
Finally, we will have a reputable company stepping up to the plate and making a quality turbo project for the 1UZ. Who knows... maybe the supra community will embrace the 1UZ and in the future, possibly some Turbo Kits for the 1UZ on the market. Oh the possibilities.
Does anyone know how much more room is in the engine bay of the Supra compared to the SC? I know a few attempts have been made at doing this Project in the SC shell, but things had to be tossed around and relocated (which, i'm not discouraged by). I was reading over on SF that someone did a test fit of dropping a 1UZ in Supra and he said that it fit nicely.
All in all, hopefully Sound Performance will see this 1UZ as a lucrative endeavor and cater to the untapped American 1UZ market.
Peace,
Dix

Well if I'm seeing correctly then I think they basically took all the creature comforts out of the engine bay...maybe relocated them. I'm not seeing anything belt driven at the front so I'm sure some of our resident V8 experts could strip out the engine bay and add a couple huge snails but it'd be pointless. It's a luxury car and I doubt anyone would wanna do it. The Supra can get by because it's more of a sports/GT car and if you're making over 1000 hp I'm sure they could do without AC.

I think all they have so far is just a supra w/ a v8 engine in it and nothing else so far.
Aren't these the same guys that built an 8 second street trim 2jz supra? I'm not sure whether they did or not, but does "street trim" mean creature comforts like A/C?
