What are obstacles swapping 2JZ-GE VVT-i into a pre VVT-i SC300
I've done a search and can't seem to find the situation I'm facing. My wifes car is a '95 SC300, pre-VVT-i 2JZ-GE. I'm considering dropping in a '97 or newer 2JZ-GE VVT-i because there are low mileage normally aspirated engines readily available. This is my wife's daily driver, so no turbo's. What problems am I likely to encounter. Thanks in advance.
well if u want vvt-i you will have to get a 98 and up because 97 is non vvt-i should be decently simple just make sure you get an ecu and uncut wiring harness
