Thumbs up cold air intakes for SC300s

I for one would be very interested in learning more about this kit. Would it fit on a '92 SC300? I hope the price range is something reasonably less than what's out there. Aftermarket upgrade parts are hard enough to find as it is, when you do find something they cost an arm and leg....
Pls keep us updated.
Thanx!

Post easy to do

You could easily do this yourself for well under $100. Check these posts for the info and leads for the MAF.

Thumbs up Ok Ikon, results with no heat shield

As you can see, the intake manifold temp drops were no were near the ones with the heat shield. I would like to test again when the temp outside is the same, it was 15 F hotter when I ran the test with the heat shield.

I will write up the measurements and how I made the shield soon.

Default CAI, etc.

Mr. Ikon:

Did you post instructions/pictures on your setup? If so, apparently I missed them – you guys have finally won me over – I’d like to doit toit. All of your posts on the subject make it sound easy – I am mechanically inclined (built dirt track car and pit-crewed on a AA fueler when younger) but – time is my concern – don’t have much ofit – anyway, if you have posted give me a clue and I’ll print it out. Thanks!
