thanks for ur info. well, i guess i decided that since i do have the money for the new 1. i decided to just go ahead and buy from steve at carson. I bought it today... now the waiting...

That is rubbish and overkill.
There just is no need. Not for TCs. There is whole bunch of noninvasive test aviable to determine fatigue and possible internal irregularities. But hey mostly for jet turbines, not car TC! It is not the level or responsability of the component.
I do agree with most of your points made in this thread, but hey this goes to far. Even jet engines get rebuild, over and over agein. Think of that.

well just to give you a little insight on the lextreme tc i was putting down about 350 to the wheels on that tc once i get my motor back ill be putting down 600 at least ill tell you how the tc holds up under the power
