From what I know u can use a 7mgte turbo tranny all u would need is the 1jz bell housing. They have the exact same gear ratios. but I think it will only work if your putting it in the older supras

Im well aware of that.. Im one of the guys who helped set it up and all.. I was supposed to fly down this weekend to go but I cant so my fiancee will be taking out my car for me since I left it in FL

Dude,

If your SC300 is fitted up with an A340E auto tranny (check the VIN plates) then yes it will bolt up. I've got the A340E tranny on mine, just remember if you're planning for anything more than 200 or so rwkw you should look at getting an ATF cooler and a shift kit for the auto.

i have the soarer motor with the R154 tranny ...but am comming up dead on the wiring info on soarer to SC300 info.....can anyone help? It seems as many are quiet about the wiring....which i think is a load.

what shop is the one you are talking about?? i live in miami and would love to know!! also how much does you friend charge? and does he do the wiring too??

1JZ-gte come with bigger valve that those of 2JZ-gte units so it allow more air flow plus when you swap 1JZ head in place of 2JZ you can fool people at dragstrip who don't know that you have 3.0liters engine underneath.
