Default Installed my magnaflows 14829's today!

Temperature was 29 degrees today in NYC , but that didnt stop me from getting my magnaflows installed. The exhuasts made the car sound a lot more sporty and more aggressive. It has kind of a deep rumble like the G35. I went with 2.25" piping which was basically the same as the stock pipe but eliminated as much of the bends as i could compared to the stock piping. I wanted the exhaust piping from the cat-back but the stock y-pipe was fine according to the muffler shop. I didnt have a y-pipe on me, and was advised not to have them fabricate a Y-pipe due to the fact that it may not have even pressure on both pipes. I had them cut the stock exhaust right after the stock Y-pipe. I am happy with my new mod and may possibly add that y-pipe extension if i feel later on it makes a difference but as of now this is as straight as i could have the piping done.

The mufflers were purchased from Hottexhaust. com, thanks to Mteele for the thread on that.
I purchased both exhausts and the total came out to under $190 with free shipping.
This is the streetseries brand of the magnaflow mufflers and the piping shown in the pictures are on a 97 SC300.

Here are the long awaited pics in the freezing cold:

The system looks great on the car; as for the 2.5", seems like mostly everything on the MagnaFlow site is either 2.5" or 3", if you're planning on going boost I'd definitely run the 3".

Magnaflow only has like one or two 2.5" mufflers with tips and they are fugly. I want one exactly like the ones in this thread but in 2.5". I don't want 3" yet because being N/A, for now, I don't want it being another obnoxiously loud n/a "import". But either way, I am really diggin' this Sleeper97's exhaust.
