Cherplex,

LOL, thats old news! HKS was the first to do a "field" harness. They used it to splice in their electronic devices (FCON and VPC and GCC).

My friend has an Autosport wiring harness for his 2nd generationa 7mgte Supra (89-92), and I had 2 original HKS FCON and VPC combos laying around with the field harnesses. Compared the quality, and the Autosport units are worth the money. The only thing is that all the wires are white and not color coaded like HKS did back in the day to match the OEM wiring harness for ease of splicing. But a wiring diagram is always available for the GE's and GTE's.

Either way I am glad you found them so that other people can know as well. I am buying one when I do all that turbo stuff about a year from now. Suspension and looks are first right now. Then the real performance can insue. LOL

PS: nice looking car!

With the autosport harness, would you have to do a custom order to get the correct length? The one picture they have of a Supra harness looks like its only about 8 inches long.

Yes you will need to bypass the neutral safety switch. I have a 1j auto ecu with my 5spd I ran a line directly to my starter from one of my remote start wires. BTW I have a 1j auto ecu for sale PM me for details.
