I'm due a flush now , but I don't know if it will do the job. I have been doing the services on time for the most part.

Did you ever have the pan dropped and the filter screen cleaned or replaced as part of the maintenance? Sometimes it can get so cloged that it could cause slippage. Especially in a higher mileage tranny. Low mileage tranny's can be picked up for $400-500 so it won't cost an arm and a leg if it is gone.

Time for a used tranny.

I just got one for a local member for $600 with a warranty.

The tranny for the SC has a shorter first gear for better acceleration than the LS, and as algia said, it just won't work.

Most shops wont do a flush on a car with over 100-150K miles, like my shop won't do it over a 100k unless papers are shown that service has been doen regularly. Just do a drain in fill on yours, drop the pan and preplace the trans. filter while your at it as well, it should only take 10-15 minutes total and you will save your self about $80.
