did this tonite 1/3 in vaccum line, 1/3 gas , 1/3 crankcase and as it smoked i felt the engine become more responsive, and the engine now idles lower..... now i dont recommend that u do 2 oil changes but im a person that thinks if it is worth doing then its worth over doing and i got a jug of crappy oil and crappy oil filter. After running for 5-10mins i pulled the car back into the garage and did the oil change and WOW it was black, only had 2000 miles on that oil, then run the crappy oil for 10 miles and came back and changed it out with mobile 1 synthetic and another new oil filter, the oil was a dark carmel so again it cleaned more out. Car runs amazing with all the get up and go that i was missing, will be doing tune up next day off for even better results. well hope the info helps and happy seafoaming

I've seafoam twice so far, really hard to mess up if you follow directions. I did it on a sc300 however. I actually recorded it too and I'll probably add a Visual SC300 version. but yeah, its so easy.

When I change my oil, I Seafoam. What I have done is run 1/4 can through my oil filler hole on top, 1/2 through the throttle body vacuum line, and then the rest through the gas tank. Let set in engine while off for 15 minutes, and then run for ten.

IMMEDIATELY after that I run a full bottle of Gunk engine flush through and let that run for 15 minutes. When I drain, I let it drain extensively and then fill with 10W30 FULL synthetic Castrol Syntec. Engine oil gets cleaner and cleaner with every Seafoam treatment and runs so smoothly. After this oil change I am buying new Denso spark plugs (All I have ever ran in my cars) and Toyota Cap/rotor/wires.

I'll be considering fuel filter replacement soon as well just for added protection.

I highly recommend my method as I have never had a problem with oil consumption or leaks after using Seafoam with this method.

Can you use seafoam to clean your throttle body instead of carb cleaner? Anybody have instructions or experiences using seafoam on a 2nd gen GS430? I am interested in trying this on my car as well as my moms 99 TL.

I did my new car a week ago and did 1/3 in the gas tank, drove it for a week, then did a 1/3 in the pcv line and a 1/3 in the crankcase...the car runs like new.

Theres lots of how to videos on youtube on Seafoam with Sc's and other cars. But I really want to do this sense I now my engine could use it but its incredibly annoying to change the spark plugs in my sc..(97 sc300 2jz Ge) and just put new ones in because cleaned engine bay and learned the hard way why hand washing is the way to go on the Sc's lol. But will you have to change oil and spark plugs if you mix it with your gas?? And can you feel a Difference thought the gas method?

I don't see why you need to change the spark plugs. If you add seafoam to the gas, it will burn just like a fuel system cleaner. If anything the spark plugs will be cleaner. I just changed mine back in September to NGK Platiums, so I think they should still be good
