These are the parts to need to purchase: Pistons, rods, pistons pins, rings, main bearings. Have a machinist take a look at your shortblock. If the cylinder clearance are out of spec, I would suggest you to run the oversize pistons. Otherwise your compression will be very low. Take a look under the crank and it will tell you what size of main bearings you need. You can either use the GTE or GE spec, there isn't that much difference. Keep everything in the middle and you will be ok.

never went and looked myself actually, just remember numbers being tossed around by supra guys...

check out the toyota dealership that sponsors this website... i cant remember the name of it... they can prolly get you a good deal as a member of CL

Ryan23 on Is300 used to have good prices on the GTE short block. I don't think he can do it anmor though. Best price i've seen is $1834
