No. Different harness plug and AEM plug and play module wouldnt be set up to handle 1jz sensor arrangement, etc...

not to say it couldnt done, or that AEM could release a new module that supports the harness plug (it'd be the same for the 1jz supra and the soarer)... maybe someone should petition them it'd be nice to have everything already setup up almost (just plug in a GM map sensor instead, use existing IAT, etc)

their universal setup could do it most definitely... or you could use a haltech or something similar

Does it retail curise and keyless entry? I work on my car but have never done a swap. Trying to decide between na-t or 1jz but like the 1jz because it looks cleaner than 2jzge.

Thanks
yes, 1JZ-GTE will look cleaner than 2JZ-GE, no intake pipe across the engine. SLD is also need if you want to go more than 180 KPH. For ECU upgrade look for Apexi Power FC or cheaper Greddy E-Manage if EMS has no application for 1JZ-GTE since it not US spec. Both units is plug-in and are affordable than HKS F-con V.

Oh my friend buy 2JZ-GTE plastic engine cover and swap out 1JZ unit , it look better.

Wait, now I'm confused. Are you talking about swapping valve covers onto a 2JZGE or the 1JZGTE?? The last time I checked, my 1J doesn't have a distrib.

Are you guys talking about plastic covers as in the spark plug wire cover that runs between the valve covers? I dont think it fits. Last time I checked the bolt holes on the 1jz arent wide enough

hahaha

They're referring to the entire valvecover if i'm understanding it right...
which the 2jz-gte valvecover will swap over to the 1jz-gte... just something about fiddling with the valvecover seal to make it seat properly
