I found a 1jz motor with a 5 speed. I don't know what car it came from. Does anyone know if it's tranny is better than a sc300 w/ 5 speed tranny? I would just get the engine if the transmissions are the same. It's plobably better if it is from a TT engine, right? Also, does anyone know where to get a soarer rear end?

 

the 1j comes with an r154 tranny, same ones found in older gen supras, way stronger than the piece of **** w58 tranny the sc 5 speed comes with

 

Do some research and stop asking questions like this... this is the second thread you've started asking the same damn question

there are at least 5 threads on this very page that tell you what manual transmission comes with a 1jz...

 

it is not the same question, I didn't know the 1jz came with 2 different 5 speeds, this is good info.
