something's up with my crank pulley
engine vibrates really bad at 1.5k or higher. I think it's the crank pulley but I honestly don't know. I inspected it and found the following:
What is that cable? It looks like it's jammed in the pulley..
Also, I got my PS pump and alternator replaced and I didn't see a nut on the PS pump pulley:
Is it like that by design or is it missing? Definitely looks threaded to me. And finally, if I get a squeak when I turn my A/C on and I just replaced the ACC belt, would changing the tensioner fix this?
TIA

The pic is the ac compressor and not the crank pulley. The wire is for the clutch.
As mentioned, the crank pulley hub and outer ring will delaminate. This causes all kinds of issues that are more obvious with the a/c on. Check there first.

whoops, that just goes to show you how much of a total noob I am .. of course that's the A/C compressor, i probably would have realized it if i had given it a few more seconds of thought.. anyway, i changed the serpentine tensioner and the squeaking stopped. inadvertently caused some other problems too but got them all straightened out. just as a side note, if you ever get a CEL after a timing belt change and its a code 13, the guy who changed the belt didnt install it right. the car doesnt necessarily need to run like complete crap, sometimes it will only hesitate under WOT.. but its still a botched install.
