PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Well, my uncle pulled the intake mani. off, the fuel rails and everything eles and discovered that all of the O-Rings, Grommets, and insulators were drier than sun baked dog terd so he had to replace them all. He got it all back together and.... the car wouldn't start. He noticed that the gas needle was on E so he put some gas in it; again, nothing. He said that the lines were not delivering gas up front so he traced it back to the fuel tank. He saw that there was something wrong in the tank that was making it leak the gas back into the tank. He removed the tank and found that someone had, at one point, messed with the tank and didn't put one of the washers or something back on. This was causing a lack of fuel pressure under full load and the fuel pressure regulator was sending signals to the ecu and making it cut off 4 cylinders. He fixed that and started it up.... it was still running crappy. He hooked up a diagnostics thing that he has and traced it to the timing. He shined a light around and saw that all of the pieces from the rotor that exploded had traveled down and gotten pulled through the belt and made it skip timing by a tooth. He loosened up the tensioner and fixed that and BAM! (no nothing exploded) it was fixed.

Thanks for the help everyone. Maybe this could benefit someone else who has this problem in the future.

caps, rotors, and plugs $125
plug wires $150
grommets, insulators, and o-rings $100
labor $100
sensation of driving a Lexus V8 running on ALL 8 cylinders.... Priceless

Glad to hear you solved your problem. Sounds like your uncle knows how to troubleshoot. Good luck with your new ride.

Yeah man glad to see your car is up and running well again.

Guess someone owes someone a good lunch. Seems your uncle knows his stuff really well.
