i think it was houston oh well. i have 3 vids of clints old SC running on the highway. i thought the car was single then... or was that after? i dunno, i just wanted to post something. does anyone know if that was his 92, or the 97 that he later sold to SW? i think it was the 92, cause that was the first one to get "the treatment"

the 92 was never single; always had HKS GT2835s, same setup as Walser's supra i think...

the 97 had a single and never had any vids out until SW drove it at the track (and promptly scraped the mufflers on the ground in a 10 second run )

Since the SC300 already has a 2JZGE in it, I can easily mate a 2JZGTE to the SC300 tranny. My question is, will a 2JZGTE from an auto supra work with a 5spd SC300 tranny if I get the supra 6spd Manual ECU? And what are my options after surpasing the limit of the SC300 stock 5spd tranny?

yes! you might have to do a little wiring trick to make the ecu think its in park so the motor cranks...

R154 and V160 are your manual tranny options after surpassing the W58
R154 would need a 1jz flywheel, slave cylinder, 7m clutch setup and custom driveshaft
V160 would need 2jz-gte flywheel, slave cylinder, and 2jz-gte clutch setup and custom driveshaft

So I can use a 2JZGTE auto ECU?

and with the V160, will the shifter come up through the normal spot on the console or will I have to modify it? and the V160 is the 6spd so I should get the 6spd ECU?? Im kind of confused, but what I do know is I want a 2JZGTE in a SC300 nnnnnnnnNNNNNOOWWWW.

Thanks for posting vids everyone you are helping me justify spending ridiculous amounts of money.

you can still use the auto ecu with the v160... main diff between 6speed ecu and auto ecu is the park-lockout switch as i told you

depends on what year car you have to how much banging you need to do to make it fit
95+ cars will allow it to bolt right in
