i would never expect to run a 10 off nitrous with an SC (nor do i believe i ever said that). thats a little overkill....they weigh a friggin ton....and i don't trust a shot like that on a car unless its built specifically for nitrous. Obviously cars running in the 10s with nitrous have been built to do so.

Also, i was debating the lowering of compression for drivablitliy issues. Thats why i wanted something that i could control timing with. So i didnt have to run around with 4 degrees of retarded timing all day. Maybe a resonable shot can be run on stock compression. The cars are sluggish enough on their own...they don't need lower compression and retarded timing with no power adder for daily driving situations.

though back to the orignial question...has anyone had any experience with either of these kits? whether with an SC or otherwise? I will be ordering one of these two next week, and i didn't want to go into it blindly.

ALSO: i am sorry if i came off a bit rude to the guy that said:
Sorry but I cant take you seriously, you came in here acting like a 10 year old kid crying to his mom
i really have no idea what that had to do with and SC300 / Nitrous / Experience with a nitrous kit / experience with one of the kits i listed.

It really just seemed like he was flaming me for no real reason. Thats why i replied the way i did.

though an upgraded head gasket (thicker or not) would be in order.

in my opinion....and maybe some ARP headstuds while i'm at it.

i think these engines can hold quite a bit of nitrous.

I think I'm going to order the 125 dry efi nos kit from tmengineering.com includes auxillary fuel pump. I'll be adding remote bottle opener and possibly purge as well.

I'll post pics when its done.

75 will not hurt you...at least from my experience, I have stock everything...you name it...it's stock ....I used 93 octane pump gas, spark plugs that weren't for nitrous, and I am fine....I had a ½ filled bottle (w/o warmer), dry kit. but I think something is not right for my SC, it's slow....I ran a 5.81 from 20-60 punch w/ the 75 shot..but I had fun....btw, 5.81 with ½ tank of pump gas, driver and passenger togther about 245-250 lbs on SC300, and I have heavy fat rims, 18X8.5 and 18X9.5 with decent width tires. Those are the factors that would probably slow my car down..but I didn't think they will slow it down that much..

Those are slow times, I ran a 15.4 stock in my SC300 with 133K miles. There is a guy in MD that was running a 100shot of wet NX on his IS300 and ran mid 13's with mods being I/H/E, fuel pump and SAFC2. I think he is running on boost now w/o n2o and is still making similar times b/c of traction issues.

question for you, how many miles does your car have on it? im putting a wet kit with a 75-100 hp shot on my extra engine and dropping it in my car. im going to put 550cc injectors, 2mm headgasket, and a 250lph walbro fuel pump and some fresh spark plugs. my engine has about 100,000 on it. im going to be driving the car like this until christmas break when i will have time to throw a turbo on the engine. (thats the reason im getting the 2mm headgasket) is it going to suck extremely bad driving it at low compression because of the 2mm headgasket from say august to december? my grandmother has an extra truck i can use but i dont want my lexus just sitting there being lonely. and i dont want to drive a truck that much either. any suggestions? oh yea. i know i could wait till christmas to put everything on, but its going to be hard to leave a perfectly good nitrous kit just sitting on my bedroom floor. i have no patience
