Default 1jz swap

Ok i search the forum for this but couldn't find an answer with the i talk to driftdragauto and they
said they have soarer front clip 5sp i was wondering will the r154 from soarer front clip swap
bolt in with the stock driveshaft or will custom driveshaft have to be made everyone with 5sp swaps are running w58 trannys

i think kaotiq is the only one running r154 tranny does any one know if its the soarer or supra version

uh.....somebody is getting their facts wrong.

the jdm 1jzgte = w58 5 speed
the jdm/usdm 2jzgte = r154 6speed.

Yeah and its you

jdm 1jzgte = R154 5-speed
jdm/usdm 2jzgte = V160/V161 6-speed

jdm/usdm 2jzge = W58 5-speed

if it truly is a soarer manual clip I'd jump on it in a heartbeat if you have the cash...
i seriously doubt it is; it most likely is a JZA70 clip... if you see it for yourself; check the radiator fan... the JZZ30 has a clutch fan and it will be attached directly to the waterpump on the motor... (or at least have the mounting points there for it if they pulled the fan)
the jza70 has a hydraulic fan and it will not be attached to the motor nor have any mounting points for one.

Somelse on this forum got 1997 soaer front clip with vvti 5sp from dragdraftauto i pm kaotiq he said on his swap he had to get a custom driveshaft that was mated to 1jz driveshaft made so guess that the only way to do it anyone else running r154 tranny???????????
