so did all of you experience a hard-to-press clutch before it broke, as someone previously posted?
this thread has me a little concerned because my clutch requires a good amount of stregnth to press. is every sc300 like that?
i hopped into my dad's bmw z3 and stepped on the clutch.... holy crap the clutch pedal felt like it wasnt even attached to anything, in comparison to my car

kaotiq: thats what i figured...when you said the same thing happened to you, i though to myself that it had to be at the same spot. i don't see anywhere else it would even be stressed enough to break.
Xevuhtess7: i didn't feel anything before it broke...i just went to push the clutch in to shift and it got stuck. i don't think its something to be really concern about. i do believe that its a design flaw which took its toll after many years and miles. my car has over 250k so im pretty sure that aided to the pedal breaking.
Thanks for everyone who responed. i though i was just having crappy luck since weird stuff like this always seems to be attracted to me in some way. im just glad im not alone on this. crap like this makes me wanna just get a new car but i just love my sc too much.
