I'm using a GRIFFIN radiator. it's a little bit cheaper than koyo and fluidine, even though my cost on a fluidine is 366. I had to modify my brackets and use a stock supra sensor to plug up the bung on the bottom. Other than that, it fits fine.

Bumping this as I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully installed a Koyo radiator (from a MKIV) in their car,...and if so...what mods were done to do so.
It is possible...because David Penton has it completed.

Hoping some guys will add some insight.

man i hate to "wake the dead" but heres my question. i need a new radiator, every thread i look in only talks about the supra TT radiator. i do not need a race radiator at this time, so i can deal with oem but on this site im at it says that the na supra is all metal (which is a plus for me). i also see that the sizes of the na and sc300 according to this site are practically the same. the only difference is what was said before...height. now it seems easy enough to make the radiator higher but what i found interesting about the na radiator is not only that it is all metal but it is the same thickness as the sc300 radiator which would eliminate me having to trim the fan shroud (i would think). would i be safer getting a na radiator then a tt (less work)?

Wow, pretty old thread here . . but the temp sensor in my SC400 fit in the Koyo Supra TT radiator just fine.
Boobstar, if you are going to buy a new oem style radiator why not just get one for an SC300? NA Supra cores are 1 inch shorter than SC300 radiator cores which will probably cause problems with lining up the fan shroud. Turbo supra cores are about 7/16" thicker. There are sites online that have all metal replacements for SC300's if you are just looking for something with no plastic.

the only other thing is that i can get an na radiator for 65 shipped versus an oem sc300 one for 150. since the na one is slimmer wouldnt i NOT have to modify the fan shroad. i thought i would only have to if it were thicker.

I'm no expert with SC300's shroud, but when I installed a Supra radiator on my SC400 it wasn't the thickness that made it necessary to modify the shroud, but rather the height of the radiator. Here's the thread, it has lots of pics that might help a bit. SC400 Koyo Install w/ Lots of Pics
