Picked out my new Manifold
Ok, made a decision on what manifold to go with and this is the one I got....
No point in messing about with trying to contact Wasabi or buying some cheap China made Manifold. Not when I have spent so much to have the best I can get.... No point in cutting corners now is there
It is the Greddy (Trust) 1JZ-GTE T4 Split pulse Manifold

Ok, the new turbo (GT40-67) is installed now. There were some small issues as usual. I had to have 2 elbows welded on to the turbo housing because of the size of the turbo and the intercooler piping needed it could not make the bend near the suspension turret. I also had to have a V band adapter welded on to my downpipe and some fancy piping to take the oil drain line.
The car is not completely done yet though. I still need to have it re-mapped as they did not have time to do it because it took so long (Had to wait for the V band stuff from Boostlogic)
So she's running really rich at the moment, lumpy idle, lots of soot at the rear. Possible issue with a control valve for the intake manifold vacuum as well. (my breather pipe is sucking in air when it should be blowing out or static)
She's going back in on Weds to sort out the final bits.
I had the turbo housing powder coated in silver because of the welding that needed to be done to it.
Here are a few pictures in the meantime

I just want to know why you decided to coat the compressor housing instead of polishing it to match the rest?
