Hahah I *DID* call AEM.
They were lost and didn't help me at all. I explained to them exactly what the problem was and I couldn't get an answer. This was 3 weeks ago.
But who cares, 2JZ's solution WORKED. I wired in the resistor and the climate control reclaimed full control of the a/c. From there I tuned the a/c idle up and got everything else working perfectly.
So props to 2JZnat for the answer.
Incidently, the installation of an AEM "plug and play" (yea right) on the SC is damn complicated and the instructions they give you are so far off it's not even funny. I have a page full of notes and after all is said and done I will start a new thread titled "How to install an AEM EMS in your SC300" and we can share all our details. I know I have tons to share from part numbers of sensors to Pin numbers and wire colors. AEM doesn't tell you any of this and it doesn't make sense to sell this as plug and play when it's really only plug.
Dunno about you but it's not plug and play when you have to break out your soldering iron on more than a handful of occasions.
Still a DAMN FINE unit and I am very pleased.
