that looks fine. the only things i've seen from cheap filters is they fall apart faster.

We read many reviews for many years. And the general opinion is no generic filter outflows a good quality air filter(I.E. K&N, HKS).

Please just put in a K&N or TRD panel filer if your on a budget. Just remember cheaping out on your air filter will cost you down the road in gas mileage. Generic filters block more air than flow.

Kinda bringing back an older thread, but does Pep Boys sell K&N filters for SC300's? I would assume so, and also will a K&N be better than an OEM Toyota air filter? What's the difference in price between the K&N, TRD, and Toyota OEM? Also, how's the DIY, I'll try a search, but I don't have too much time to read through 200 some odd threads. Any input is appreciated! My gas mileage has been suffering recently, only around 300 miles per tank as opposed to usual 350 that I get with my highway driving, and I think that changing the filter might help? It's been 15k miles at least since it was changed.

that ebay filter looks really cheezy and will probably get sucked into your engine when it gets old. Ive seen both the trd and the KnN filters and the trd one has about twice the surface area as the KnN and the trd one fits much better. and our air filters are compatable with the 4 runners and n/a supras so they shouldnt be hard to find.
