With my car trapping 132, it walked my friend's 03 R6 which "should" trap about 130 in the 1/4. This was about a buslength and growing from a 50 mph roll to about 140+. He's also a very experienced rider.

Another thing about the GT35R which in reality is just another 61mm turbo; on even the 3.0L 2jzgte, they don't make 550whp on 21 psi(and if they did a few times, it's not common). Another local has a 61 running 18 psi making a little over 460 on his 2jzgte, I don't see where another 100 whp could come from from a smaller motor with the same turbo. Only one way to prove it.... Do it, dyno it, Don't go off creep numbers, and let'r rip; just don't tune agressively just to make dyno numbers, blowing the motor isn't worth it..

Anyhow, yeah, get a turbo. Get it working, make some power with that little baby 2.5L. Good luck.
Yeah it takes about a 140mph car to run with a 140mph bike up until about 120-130mph and at that point the car starts running away due to sheer power(torque) at the point where weight isnt as much of a factor and air-resistance is everything... now what happens when you run a 130mph car vs a 140mph bike? the bike will be VERY far ahead before wind resistance is a big factor....

after that point you might...
but don't kid yourself man... a 600awhp EVO couldnt touch my friends bike from a 60mph start... the bike IMMEDIATELY pulled around 2-3 car lengths on it and the EVO never caught up and kept fading back and back...
an 03 R6 vs an 04 R1 is a very laughable situation indeed

I understand where your argument is coming from and it IS valid at higher speeds; but you wont touch a newer liter bike on sheer acceleration under 100mph... even with a 800-900whp car...
fact is they can pull their front tire off the ground through 3rd gear (they do 75mph in FIRST) and a 600whp supra cant even do it on a launch...
after 100mph then yeah the supra's highway supremeness shows itself and it will even the odds very quickly...
remember Walser's Supra when he ran the 02-03 hayabusa? he didnt pull very hard at all until they got over 130mph or so and even then it wasnt much... an 04 R1 is even faster (and a 05 GSXR-1000 is even faster still)... Walser's supra was suppsedly putting out nearly 800whp IIRC with nitrous (supposed to be same setup as Clint who made 765 in his SC -- i remember the thread that started a looooong time ago)
