Will Stock Tranny Holds Power for the 1JZ

Quick shake down...
W58 - Dunno, it *might* hold the power, but the 1JZ was never released with the W58, only the R154.
A340E - I assume this is the auto that came out with the SC300 (it did on the Soarer). I've witnessesd quite a few mid~high 200kw atw with the factory autobox, rebuilt with 2800RPM stall, rebuilt lock-up clutch, shift kit, extra bands etc. But for up to around 250kw atw the stock box with a shift kit and ATF cooler will do the job.

The SC300 automatic tranny will hold stock boost levels on the 1jz, but why not swap over the Soarer automatic? The W58 [5-speed] will def hold all the stock twins will make......
