Default my na-t

She is a pita sometimes, but I love my new na-t 5 speed. Standalone haltech'n and and better oil lines should help with her issues soon.

The 1J is somewhat easier to swap once you use a soarer clip because it came out of the same chassis you have to extend wires. The 2JZ I'm not too sure but either way both of them are reliable.

How reliable is an NA-T??
I was planning to go NA-T but my 2JZGE has about 192K on it,so I don't think it could handle the boost without blowing the headgasket, now I'm planning a 2JZGTE swap mated to my 5speed manual trans.,yes I know that the 5speed can't handle too much hp,but I only want about 400 reliable horsepower..

NA-T is as reliable as a bone stock car if you do it right. I'm also 5-speed with just over 400hp.

Just do it. If it blows up (doubtful if you do it all right), put another stock GE motor in over the weekend and go play again.

How about a SC400 NA-ST? Mine will be done in about a month. 80% is completed.
