Default Magnaflow 14851 - Vid

As promised I made a few clips of my exhaust. The exhaust is comprised of a Magnaflow stainless steel X-Pipe and dual 14851 - Race Series mufflers. The 14851's are externally identical to the ever popular 14829's - with a more free flowing internal design.
The clips were shot in the car video with the windows down.
With the windows up - it's not crazy loud - at cruise it is very mellow. However, at WOT - it opens up and unleashes an aural assault.

Clip 1:

Clip 2 - See if you can hear the car alarm chirp in the parking garage due to the acoustic shockwave from the exhaust.

As always the exhaust is deeper in person - but this at least gives you an idea. Enjoy!

Thanks. The only noticable drone occurs around 2100 RPM - However, with the windows up and the A/C on - it all but dissapears completely. Small price to pay IMHO - I love the sound of the new exhaust.

You're right, the drone is evident on my car as well around 2100 rpms...

Thaat was awesome. Is that the exhaust with the 3 in inlet as opposed to the 2.25 on the 14829?

Sounds fantastic!!!! Exactly the setup I am looking into now. What did you do with the cats? Stay stock or go with Magnaflow high flow cats? I'm going headers with mandrel bent 2.25 inch pipe to x-pipe to new cats but am unsure if I should go with magnaflow cats or try stockers.

Sorry for the late reply, the inlet is still 2.25". The only difference between the 14829 and the 14851 is that the 14851 has a straight through design - it's a constant 2.25" throughout the muffler. The 14829 necks down to 2" inside the muffler and has a different baffle to provide more sound suppression.

I kept the primary cats - located right after the factory headers. Then ditched the 3rd Cat/resonator and the other 2 resonators. So basically mine is straight from the primary cats -through the X-Pipe and then out to the Magnaflows - with all mandrel bent tubing.
