Default transmission question

I have a 92 sc4 with 145k. Today i felt what I think was some slipping in my transmission. After I felt it I started to go slow then gun it and the transmission was hesitating. How common is transmission problems...and really how expensive??

hope you only need to flush your tranny, cause replacing or repairing it will cost you a fortune, like 1000+

I thought that flushing your tranny fluid is bad for slipping issues?

Flush the fluid and check the throttle valve cable adjustment. If it persists then you should suspect the torque converter (usually accompanied by a 'shuddering') or the unit itself. With 145k...if it's the original trans and it's bad, I wouldn't be too upset.
