TRD Oil Filter Worth It?
Hi,
I'm looking to change the oil in my SC300 and was wondering if anyone uses the TRD oil filters? If so, are there any benefits to these over the stock OEM Toyota Filters?
Also, if you use the TRD filters, are there any specific oils to use? Also, what is the difference between the colors of TRD filters (red vs white)?
Thanks a lot!
JM

Yeah, I'm debating between the TRD red vs TRD white, but I'm not sure if there's any difference besides the price on them. I did read that the OEM Toyota filters have gone down in quality so I understand using the LandCruiser filters instead.
Anyone using TRD care to comment?

I know that the performance won't change, but I was more wondering whether the filtration is that different with the TRD filters. I realize that the stock black OEM ones now aren't very good so I'm more debating between TRD red and TRD white as red costs almost twice as much.
So, yeah, I'm wondering about the quality of filtration, not performance gains.
Thanks.
