In regards to your A/C dilemna:

If R12 is very scarce to get a hold of, then converting it to R134 would be your best alternative. However be forewarned that it will not blow as cold as R12, but it does get the job done. Just my .02 cents when I had the same issue. Personally I stuck with the R12

good luck friend

ok guys I took off the TB today and there was about a inch of water in the plugs, I cleaned it then I used sum crab cleaner to clean the TB after I assembled it and got her started she wont *** down from 1000 Rpm.

Is there an adjustment I could have messed with accidentally to make it do this?

It will be the plugs. Look under the left side of the throttle body and there are bolts there, just take those out and a few hoses on the right and then you can get to all the spark plugs. The water just sits in the rear 1 or 2 and will cause this problem. I've had it happen 2 or 3 times and now I know where it is what how to fix it EVERYTIME. I just get a shopvac and suck out the water, it works fine. If the sparkplugs are rusted replace them but I always catch mine within the hour after it happens.

Edit: Looks like you have the wtaer removed, should have noticed the 2nd page to this thread.

did you move the nuts holding the throttle cable in place? that may be your problem.

Ok I check but no difference, if the rpms drop below 1000 the car raises them up it kind of seems like is going to die

I am also wondering if these could also be the result of water some ware?

I agree with RADSC. Once the engine gets hot, the water will evaporate away from the spark plugs. The vibration is most likely caused by the water getting into you distributor and making the electrical conductivity not so great. It's a simple fix that should take you about half an hour. Pull off the distributor cap(after marking all the wires), and then blow away the water with an air compressor. Good luck!
