New SC300 owner - psp pump seal ?
I will purchase a 93 SC300 (A/T) tomorrow, original owner car, (133k miles) service records dating from day one. Timing belt, control arms, suspension bits, a/c parts have all been recently replaced. I’d like to say this now, thanks to the knowledgeable and generous contributors to this site, I have already learned much here, and am grateful.
1st request, at some time the power steering pump (psp) will leak and cause problems. It seems the fix may not require replacement of the psp, but only the seal. I have searched and have not found any clear pictures of this seal or pump. If someone has some pics, or info re the replacing of the seal, please post/link. Thanks.

That is a problem associated more with the sc400 than the 300. No ALT under the PSP means fewers problems.
