Removed Intake Snorkel
For those of you who don't know what it is, that little restrictive pipe that connects to your airbox . Anyways took me about 30 mins from start to putting everything back together (first time I ever took out a headlight). And the results are: over 4k the roar and sucking sound of the intake is EXTREMELY noticeable from stock, almost sounds like an aftermarket. I noticed it pulls a little more from 4000-6300 (noticeable), and now it seems to not run out of steam as much and keeps on pulling into the upper RPM! I recommend this mod to anyone with tools and 30 mins on their hands This was done on 96' SC300 Manual.

Also the lid that you pop open to remove/change airfilters, I popped that open today and left it like that. The car over 3k RPM has a very loud distinctive intake sound coming from the engine bay and also a noticeable amount of power above 3k too! So if you remove the snorkel, make sure you leave the lid/cover open, it gets alot more airflow!

oh god i hated that snorkel, i went to remove it and had to take out approx. infinity billion screws, the headlight, and work from not only from the top but underneath the car as well. boy was it a pain in the butt.
