94 sc300 short shifter
I just got a 94 sc300 clutch and i have had the car all of 3 weeks, I am new to the forum, and this is by far the best forum i have found, but anyway I did the basics already got the kit, espelir asd w/ tokico blues (they look and ride great oh yes anybody need shocks or springs done, I will help you or install them for a reasonable fee in the ny/nj/pa area and the stock setup is for sale only 74,000 miles) but back to the point ........
****** I need a short shifter *******
It seems to me that most people are custom making them, but I want to know if anybody has or knows of a kit that will fit a 94 sc300 and where i can order it from, but if i cant get one i want to kno if anybody on here can make a custom one for me, that has made them before.[/SIZE]

Try going to this link, http://www.mvpmotorsports.com . Check out the Supra NA section, not sure if it will fit a 94 SC but you can call to find out. A bit pricey IMO.
Good luck

Nah, the 92-94 SC's have different shifter mechanisms than the MKIV supras. However, if you are willing to dish out $400, you could always get a rare C's shifter for the MKIII supra. But your best bet is to replace the shifter bushing and cut the shifter if you want. Check out my thread on the bushings:

unsure
well i have heard that cutting the shifter , is not a good idea because of weight differences, I heard that it may allow for the shifter to pop out of gear and also affect the syncros when shifting, plus does cutting the shifter only make it shorter in appearance and height or does it shorten the throw as well.
But if anyone on the site has custom made one that both shortens the throw and is shorter in height I would be willing to pay to have one made......
