Couple questions about GE vs GTE
Ok, I know Im a "newbie" but I did a search and didnt find much helpful information. I know the heads are different as well as the blocks to some degree. I wanted to ask some questions and make sure some of the things Ive read are correct.
1) 6 speed tranny wont bolt up to the GE motor correct?
2) Anybody have a link to a comparison bewteen the motors?
3) On a stock GE at what redline do you have to upgrade valve springs?
4) Will valve springs fit both the GTE and the GE or are they different?
5) Are the GTEs valve springs stiffer then GEs?
6) Links to cool stuff like a compression calculator, how-tos, turbo builds, etc?

2) Anybody have a link to a comparison bewteen the motors?Main differences, GTE block has lower compression pistons, Oil squirters, search for the rest
